Following in the footsteps of last year’s “Rebel Rendezvous” Star Wars™ Weekends pre-sale event, Disney Parks Merchandise is offering guests the opportunity to attend a “Galactic Gathering” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® on May 14^th.

For $250 per person (plus park admission), the Galactic Gathering allows guests exclusive access to Darth’s Mall and the opportunity to purchase Star Wars™ Weekends merchandise one day before it’s available to the public.

• Commemorative Trading Pin*
• Light Speed Pass – Expedited entry into Darth’s Mall for (all five) Star Wars™ Weekends*
• First opportunity to pre-purchase select 2015 Star Wars™ Weekends merchandise
  • Personalized Aurebesh nametags, D-Tech phone cases, Dooney & Bourke handbags, Galactic Gathering Disney Gift Card*, Graphic MagicBands, limited edition pins and Vinylmation™.
• First opportunity to purchase the new designs of Star Wars™ themed Disney Gift Cards
• Han Solo inspired popcorn bucket (with popcorn)

Additional Galactic Gathering Event Offerings include:

• Ashley Eckstein meet & greet and product signing, featuring the new collection of Her Universe apparel
• Galactic activities, including meet & greet and signing opportunities with characters and Disney artists
• Shopping access to Darth’s Mall prior to the opening of Star Wars™ Weekends
• Appointment times for Star Wars™ D-Tech Me* (Appointments may be reserved in advance online when registration begins but are not required.)

Personally, the $250 price tag for the event is just too steep. When reviewing the catalog, my favorite items are those that will be offered throughout Star Wars Weekends. Given that, I cannot rationalize spending that much money to attend the Galactic Gathering, but I’m terribly jealous of those who will!
