Every day, I am grateful for the Disney Junior Channel! My two young girls don’t understand the “sleep in” thing and they watch copious amounts of Disney Junior shows including Sofia The First or Jake and the Neverland Pirates. So, of course, the Disney Junior Play & Dine breakfast option at Hollywood & Vine tops our family’s “Must Do’s!” on every trip!
DIStracted Tip: Play & Dine is also offered at lunch, however dinner currently has no characters.
As I said before, my girls wake up early, so I always work this to my advantage by booking early character meals for my girls. Disney Junior Play & Dine guests have a dedicated line at the entrance of Disney’s Hollywood Studios so that they can let you into the park before it opens!
Cast Members check your name on the reservation list, scan your Magic Band and you are heading over to Hollywood & Vine for your delicious breakfast!
DIStracted Tip: If you are looking for a place to charge your phone while waiting on your reservation, look right in the patio area between the chairs! These outlets worked and I was able to get about 5 minutes of charging for my iPhone!
The food at this location is so good. The made-to-order omelets are perfection. They also have a greek yogurt bar where you can mix your own fruit and toppings.
We have some great times with the characters! Not only do the characters come to your table, but the kids get to sing and dance with their favorite Disney Junior characters! The Cast Members have always been great and understanding with my youngest who loves characters, but isn’t always ready to meet them!
And of course, the characters are awesome when they make it to the table!
The current line up of Disney Characters are Jake, Doc McStuffins, Sofia and Handy Manny, however this is subject to change. Oso (Special Agent Oso) and June (Little Einstein’s) have previously met at this location. Characters meet during breakfast and lunch.
