Like most repeat Guests, I’ve fallen into the habit of bypassing certain attractions in favor of experiencing others during my trips. When it comes to Epcot, I make a point to visit nearly all of the major attractions –yes, even the Circle-Vision 360° films in the Canada and China pavilions! But what falls to the bottom of my list at Epcot? Is there a chance I’ll visit these attractions on our upcoming family trip?
The Land Before Time
I have fond childhood memories of. . .ZZZZZZZ. Yes, that’s how quickly Ellen’s Energy Adventure knocks me out. Clocking in at 45 minutes, this moving-theater multimedia attraction does entertain, but just can’t hold my attention for the duration of the attraction.
Future visit prediction: Maybe. This would be a good mid-day break (translation:nap) for the family. Bonus: my son will love the dinosaur Audio-Animatronics!
RIP Dreamfinder!
I actually DO have fond childhood memories of Journey into Imagination with Figment; well, the first (and best!) version of this attraction anyway. It guts me to ride this attraction knowing what it once was. My hope is that Disney shutters this attraction and opens an Inside Out themed attraction in its place. How cool would that be?
Future visit prediction: As much as it pains me to say this–definitely. I’m sure my son will enjoy this attraction.
Pass the barf bag!
I had the pleasure of experiencing Mission: SPACE during its early years when Guests weren’t given a choice of intensity levels. Thanks to my early experiences, I skipped this attraction for a time. While I don’t make a point to visit this attraction every visit, when I do, I am definitely on the Green Team. I shudder to think how my body would react to the Orange Team version.
Future visit prediction: No way Jose. Hmmmm, anyone up for a No Way Jose sundae? Last one to Beaches and Cream is buying!
Just Keep Swimming. . .
To be honest, I’m not sure why I skip Turtle Talk with Crush. I nearly always take a spin on The Seas with Nemo and Friends and spend time in the pavilion after I disembark my “clamobile”.
Future visit prediction: Definitely. My son will enjoy the interactive elements of this show. With the addition of new characters to the attraction later this Spring, it will be worth my while to visit Crush and friends!
