Disney’s All-Star Movie Resort, also referred to as ASMo, is one of five Walt Disney World Value Resorts. The Value Resorts allow families the option to stay onsite so they can enjoy all of the many perks of being a Walt Disney World Resort guest at a lower rate than the moderate and deluxe resorts. The average rate per night is approximately $108.00 before tax. The All Star Music Resort has 1920 standard guest rooms that can comfortably accommodate a family of four. Each room is approximately 260 square feet. The ASMo Resort is centrally located between the Animal Kingdom Park and the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

The Various “Themes” at the All-Stars Movies Resort
The buildings have exterior and interior theming to match their names. The themes are from the movies Fantasia, 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story, Herbie the Love Bug, and Mighty Ducks. The buildings are numbered sequentially from 1 to 0, 0 being the designator for building 10. As you exit Cinema Hall, the building to your right is building 1. The rest of the buildings are numbered in order counter clockwise ending with building 0 to the left as you exit Cinema Hall.
Each building has a unique “Icon” such as the 40 foot tall Pongo, the 35 foot tall Perdita, the 35 foot tall Buzz Lightyear and 25 foot tall Woody.

There are two themed swimming pools at the All Stars Movies Resort. The Fantasia Pool is the main pool located just outside of Cinema Hall and it’s a happening place! Apprentice Mickey stands on top of a rock and is directing the show.
The children’s water play area is located near the Fantasia Pool.
There is a smaller duck pond pool, the Mighty Ducks Pool, is shaped like a hockey rink and was inspired by the film The Mighty Ducks.
A kids’ playground is located between the Toy Story Buildings and Cinema Hall. While the playground is not large, it is a good place for the younger kids to run and play.
There are organized activities for resort guests in the afternoons and a poolside Disney movie each evening. In the case of inclement weather, the activities will, more than likely, not take place.
You may bring the towels from your room. Should you need more towels, simply touch the Housekeeping button on your telephone to request more.
Pool hours are 8am to Midnight (lifeguards on duty 10am to 10pm). Quiet hours are 10pm to midnight, so please be courteous.

All-Star Movies Transportation
Bus service to all four theme parks, water parks and Downtown Disney runs one hour prior to park opening and one hour after park closing. Buses are scheduled to run every twenty minutes. That’s the official word from Disney; however, guests may notice that they run earlier, later and more frequently than the official time.
The All Star Movies Resort has a single bus stop and it’s located outside of Cinema Hall. There are separate lines for each of the theme parks and Disney Springs (formerly known as Downtown Disney). At the present time, buses to the Animal Kingdom also stop at Blizzard Beach and the Disney Springs buses also stop at Typhoon Lagoon. There is a possibility that there will soon be separate buses for the water parks.
Normally, each All Star Resort gets its own bus. But in times of large crowds or unusually small crowds a bus may stop at more than one All Star Resort in one trip.
