This is a follow up to the breaking news story we published on Sunday regarding the fatal crash at the Richard Petty Driving Experience. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the passenger, Gary Terry (36), was in fact a driving instructor for the Richard Petty Driving Experience. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is still investigating the crash as the vehicle was traveling in a direction for which the track was not originally designed. Some in the racing community believe this may have contributed to Terry’s death.

The Exotic Driving Experience at the Walt Disney World Speedway will be closed until May 1st.
