Comicbooks.com  has released the opening date for “Star Wars Land” in BOTH Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Star Wars Land was first announced at the 2015 D23 Expo. Since then it has been a major focus for Disney and Star Wars fans and the big question has been “When is it opening?”

Star Wars Land Opening Date Revealed

In the quarterly investor earnings call earlier today, Disney CEO Bob Iger, announced that Star Wars Land will be opening in 2019! It may not be an actual opening DATE, but we’ve got an “opening YEAR,” folks!

While 2019 is the expected opening year for both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, it was not released if they will open the same day or even the same month.

Experience Star Wars as You Never Have

Planned to be the largest expansion to happen at either park, this Star Wars themed land will be roughly 14 acres. Taking what they learned from Cars Land, Imagineers plan to transport guests into their galactic fantasy.
