The clock is ticking down to the annual Star Wars Weekends held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!    Fans are always anxious to hear the official announcement of who will be making an appearance and what events will take place during the special weekends which occur from May 15th to June 14, 2015.

Magical DIStractions is here to give you the latest scoop on what was released by the DisneyParks Blog.  You’ll be happy to hear that several crowd-favorites will be back, including James Arnold Taylor, the voice of characters such as Obi-Wan Kenobi on “Star Wars: The Clone Wars“.  Taylor will be the host of the Stars of the Saga talk show which will be held in the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard.

A new and expanded complex near the Streets of America will be the location of Darth’s Mall.  There, guests will find Star Wars themed merchandise as well as exclusive event merchandise just for Star Wars Weekends 2015.

Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine at Hollywood and Vine was so popular that it has been brought back again for 2015!  Guests dining at Hollywood and Vine will have the opportunity to meet Ewok Chip and Dale, Minnie as Princess Leia, Jedi Mickey, Darth Vader Goofy and Storm Trooper Donald all dressed up in their Star Wars gear.

Each night, iconic Star Wars characters will assemble and “Summon the Force” for a grand celebration which will include a look back at your greatest moments through the day on social media.  At the end of the evening, the night sky will erupt in fireworks as the “Symphony in the Stars” salutes the Star Wars saga’s dramatic stories.
