I am a huge fan of Adventures by Disney luxury, guided, family vacations! I recently wrote about how to decide if your child is old enough for Adventures by Disney. Today, let’s consider another age group – teenagers! Teenagers can be a hard-to-please group.  Is your teen is a diehard Disney fan? Does your teen roll her eyes at the thought of family vacation? Each Adventures by Disney has a blend of age groups.  Children ages 12 and younger are referred to as Junior Adventurers on Adventures by Disney. This younger set has special perks including Junior Adventure movie or game nights and special activities. Teens (often referred to as Friends of Junior Adventurers or “FOJA’s”) are always welcome to join in on the Junior Adventurer activities. It is not unusual to see teens choose to visit the Children’s Museum instead of touring a palace. Or a teen may decide to have dinner with a younger sibling for Junior Adventure night.

Teens often form their own group during the vacations. You will find teenagers on Adventures by Disney sitting together at dinner, playing cards on the bus, or having an impromptu dance party on a catamaran.
