One thing I can’t go without on a family trip to Disneyland Resort is PhotoPass Plus. Who doesn’t want unlimited, professional vacation photos? It’s only $69.95 if you purchase it at least 14 days prior to your vacation and since one photo purchased outright will run you $15.00, I think it’s quite a value.
With PhotoPass Plus you will have access to all of the high resolution photographs taken by PhotoPass photographers as well as photographs from select restaurants and attractions.
When you purchase PhotoPass Plus ahead of time, you will receive by mail a PhotoPass cd case, along with a cd loaded with stock Disney images. Inside the case will be a voucher to pick up your Photo Pass and instructions on how to create an online account. It can be purchased via this link: Disneyphotopass
Once you arrive at the parks you can head to Main Street Photo Supply Company at the Disneyland Resort or Kingswell Camera Shop at Disney’s California Adventure Park to obtain your pass. Disney PhotoPass Photographers are located all over the parks. They are near entrances, main icons, character meet and greets and more. Make sure to have them scan your pass so that every shot they take will be on your CD.
DIStracted Tip: Ride photos are also included with PhotoPass Plus. Make sure you stop at the screens upon exiting the ride and let the Cast Member know which photo is yours. They will then scan your card so it is saved on your pass.
Would you like to have a favorite character in your shot? Just ask! PhotoPass photographers can also set up poses and include characters in Magic Shots.
Once you have created your PhotoPass online account you can view all of your vacation photos, edit them, add borders, frames, and more. They will be online for only 30 days, so once you are happy with all of the shots, follow the instructions to order your CD. It’s my favorite souvenir from every trip!
