In August Magical DIStractions team member, Lisa S., reported that The Incredible Hulk Coaster would be closing in September 2015 so that it could receive “immersive and high-tech” enhancements. It’s now evident that these enhancements entail a level of precision that would make physicist Bruce Banner proud!
Thanks to the official blog of Universal Orlando Resort, we now have more “incredible” information and pictures to share with our readers. Doug Boemler Wareing spoke with Universal Creative about the rebuilding process. “The old adage ‘measure twice, cut once?’ Here, it’s more like, ‘measure a bazillion times, install once.’ An expansive network of laser surveying tools are employed at every step of the reconstruction process, ensuring that the final bolt goes perfectly into place.” (Excerpt from the official blog of Universal Orlando Resort)
Pieces of the new, smoother-riding track were put into place a few days ago and can be seen from various areas in Universal’s Islands of Adventure park.

While not much more has been said about the enhancements, we do know that The Incredible Hulk Coaster will still be an incredible ride! Thrill seekers won’t have much longer to wait as the new and improved coaster is set roar back to life in summer 2016!
