Our room was right by one of the small pools, so of course that was the first place we had to go once we were settled. I loved that they had a net hung up for water volley ball, and a couple of basketball hoops with balls for the guests to use. It was nice for the kids to have something to play while in the water.
The only issue we had during our stay was from a few visitors outside our first floor room. There were about 6 wild turkeys hanging around outside, and any time we opened our slider they came running looking for food. So, if uninvited visitors are not your idea of a great time, I recommend requesting a room on one of the upper levels.
Even though it was for only one night we really enjoyed our time at The Shades of Green Resort, and hope to have the chance to stay there again in the future!
