I have wanted to go to Splitsville Luxury Lanes for a while! I remember reading a post from my Magical DIStractions friend Rachel about her night at Splitsville and it seemed like such a fun place to hang out with your family. So, when we found ourselves with a full evening in Disney Springs, we were excited to find that there was no wait to play a game of bowling as a family.
When we parked in the fancy new parking deck at Disney Springs, we were able to walk right into Splitsville. I was concerned that there might be a wait, and so I sent my husband and kids to the Star Wars Galactic Outpost while I checked in. Surprisingly enough, there was absolutely no wait and they could seat us immediately.
Of course, this plan was not well planned, because I totally forgot that the girls and I would need socks. Luckily, they have plenty of thick comfortable socks in bright colors to choose from – and it makes a great keepsake for the evening. And I mean, really – who doesn’t LOVE a bright colored sock with bowling shoes?
It was so much fun to see my girls get so excited about bowling. I won’t mention who lost … but I will say that my YOUNGEST beat everyone in the whole family. Clearly, she has mad skills!
We decided to get a pizza and some loaded fries for dinner. Of course, I can’t eat pork, so we asked for the bacon on the side of the loaded fries and then I ordered a kid’s Alfredo pasta for myself. The loaded fries were SO delicious, I could have just eaten those and been fine! My husband and kids loved the pizza – we even had a few slices to take back to the hotel with us for a late night snack.
We had two hours to play as much as we wanted – we made it through almost 2 full games. Our server was awesome at making sure that we had everything we needed. My girls already have plans to make this a regular stop on future Disney vacations!
