Registration for the 2017 Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend at the Disneyland Resort opens up on Tuesday, September 20th. This magical weekend hosts 4 pixie dust filled races for runners of any level to enjoy.
The weekend kicks off on Thursday, May 11th with the runDisney Health and Fitness Expo. This is one of my favorite expos because it has all sorts of cute merchandise. Also, if you forget anything for the race, you can pick it up at the runDisney Health and Fitness Expo! The expo runs Thursday – Sunday at the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall for the following hours:
Thursday, May 11th: 10AM – 8PM
Friday, May 12th: 12PM – 8PM
Saturday, May 13th: 10AM – 4PM
The races start on Friday, May 12th with the Never Land 5k! This 3.1 mile race starts at Disneyland Park and ends at Disney California Adventure Park and is perfect for the whole family! Saturday, May 13th is a two race day with the Tinker Bell 10k at 5:30AM followed by the Kids Races in the Downtown Disney District at 9:00AM. The Kids Races are really adorable; they start with the Diaper Dash for kids under 1 and goes all the way up to the 400m dash for 7-8 year olds. My 3 year old son has participated in 3 Kids Races since 2014 and loves it! The big event, the Tinker Bell Half Marathon is Sunday, May 14th. The Tinker Bell Half Marathon is 13.1 miles of magic through the Disneyland Resort and the streets of Anaheim.
