Today is the day the Round 2 finalists for the Disney Parks Moms Panel will be announced. I know thousands of you probably didn’t get a wink of sleep last night. Being chosen as a panelist for the Disney Parks Moms Panel is the highest award of Disney recognition given to those men and women who live and breathe Disney.  The Disney Parks Moms Panel is a hidden gem among the Disney community that many guests may not be aware of. While I myself love to answer questions and share Disney information with the followers of this site, I am not a member of the #DisneyMP and I do not officially represent the Disney Parks in answering questions. The select men and women who are named as panelists will represent Disney Parks in answering guests questions on their website.

Thousands of men and women will sit by their computer screens waiting to see if they receive that pixie dusted email from @gary_jerry welcoming them to Round 2. As someone who was previously in your shoes this time last year, you are all in my thoughts today! This year I was ineligible to apply as I am now working as a certified Disney Travel Agent. I have been following along in the Facebook waiting room and I know how anxious you all are. Please know I am one of your biggest chEARleaders!

There are quite a few members of our DIStracted Team  who are among those of you awaiting the email. Please remember regardless of what your email says today you are ALL part of the Disney family! Should your email not say what you were hoping for, you still have next year! There are many #DisneyMP hopefuls and Panelists who have applied year after year.  As you may have read in Panelist Jane Duckworth’s article “A Magical DIStraction from the 2015 Disney Parks Moms Panel Search,” she herself applied four times before receiving the wonderful news!
