On our most recent trip to Walt Disney World I decided I was done with autograph books! Each of our kids have one, or two, heck they probably have 4 or 5 if I really searched for them, and not one of these “Mommy, I gotta have …” books gets looked at once we leave Disney.
My mission was set and I knew what I had to do! I spent hours scouring Pinterest for ideas and couldn’t believe some of the wonderfully creative things people use for Disney Character autographs. Finally I settled on an idea, and was so excited to start!
Mickey Ears!
I decided to get a classic Mickey Ear Hat, and have the Characters sign it using a silver Sharpie. It turned out great! I can’t wait to work on one from Disneyland next month. Now to figure out how and where to put them both on display!
When I decided to write this post I asked my fellow DIStracted Authors what they use for autographs, and I was blown away by the uniqueness of each!
Lithographs!
DIStracted Author Anne F. used a Mickey and Minnie Mouse lithograph she had to make this adorable picture to share all her Character autographs!
Matte Board!
DIStracted Photographer Patrick M. was so excited about being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder he had a brilliant idea! Patrick used that the Passholder decal as the focal point. To make it even more special he added Disney pins next to the Characters’ autographs on a matte board.
Baby Shirt!
This next idea is perfect for those with young ones! DIStracted Author Rachel H. knew her son wasn’t going to be using his first birthday onesie again, so she decided to use it to collect Character autographs. I must say, the final product that she came up with is amazing!
I loved seeing all the different ideas everyone had to collect Character autographs. What do you use for autographs while in the Parks?
