My daughters have always enjoyed spending time at Epcot, but I know many families wonder if their small children would enjoy a full day at the park. For my family the answer is YES! And like many families, we have usually skipped over the Kidcot Fun Stops while touring the World Showcase. With thrill rides like Soarin’ and Test Track, as well as Journey into Imagination with Figment and Living with the Land, we can spend all day just in Future World!
During our latest trip, we brought along a Guide to the Magic Deluxe Autograph and Sticker Book. This book not only has great spots for character autographs, but also a wonderful section dedicated to the World Showcase. My oldest and I spent the afternoon together touring all of the countries and, for the first time, enjoying it from a kid’s point of view.
We enjoyed visiting each country and meeting some of the amazing Cast Members from around the world! Most Cast Members wrote a special message along with their signature. The Cast Members in the Japan and China pavilions actually wrote my daughter’s name in the special characters of their native language.
Now, there are “official” World Showcase Passports that you can purchase at Epcot for your child – so don’t miss out on these Kidcot Fun Stops! While in each country you may also notice that they offer complimentary cardboard Duffy the Disney Bear or Perry the Platypus fans. Children are able to decorate these fans with markers that are provided at each station. The Cast Members will also stamp and sign the back of the fan in place of a Passport or other autograph book!
We had a great time together exploring the World Showcase. It was amazing to see my somewhat shy daughter interact with Cast Members from around the world. The folks at Walt Disney World do an excellent job placing Cast Members that are engaging and happy to share just a little about their homeland with children. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your child on your next trip!

Is there an age limit on the kidcot stations? This sounds like something that my daughter would love to do, but she is 19 years old. I just don’t want to tell her about it if it is something that she is too old to do. She is such a big kid at heart.

I don’t think there is an age limit, but I have found that Cast Members in each country are very approachable in almost every position.

Ok, Thank you very much.
