Don’t fret mouseketeers! It’s only a trial run for a couple of days! Disney is always looking for ways to improve on the guests experience and to help improve our wait times. Lets face it, no one wants to wait 60 + minutes for a ride (which is fairly normal for Toy Story Mania). So for the next few days, cast members at Hollywood studios are handing out fast passes to Toy Story Mania. It will be the only way to ride as the stand by line is shut down. I have heard that there are limited fast passes per day (which is normal) so guests will still need to get them early in the day from the cast members or make sure to have them added to your fast pass plus.
My personal opinion, and one I have heard from many people throughout the day, is that Disney is really going to remove the spontaneity of a vacation. I love to plan but having to pick what rides to ride before even arriving to the park is a bit more planning than I like to do and now with rides potentially becoming fastpass only, that could really take the “fly by the seat of our pants” moments out of our vacations. Although I assume that if this new system comes into play, that many more fastpasses will be issued than were issued in the past.
What do you think of the possibility of major attractions becoming fastpass only?

Good article Christen I hope they don’t turn into fast pass only I like the racing round back to the beginning to go back on when queues are short plus standing in line is an experience in itself it’s not like u can get bored with Mr Potato telling his sweet jokes lol

I don’t want anything to become fastpass only. what if you don’t get a fastpass, you can’t ride that ride? What’s the point of going someplace if you didn’t plan ahead of time? what if it was a spontaneous weekend trip? it’s bad enough trying to figure out where you want to eat 180 days out. Add in which rides? It’ll be too much.
