CHANGES TO HOURS OF OPERATION!

Operating hours for Shark Reef at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon have changed.   This area will now open two hours after the park opening and close one hour prior to park closing or at 5:00 p.m., whichever is first.

At Shark Reef, guests of all ages can experience snorkeling with bright colorful fish, stingrays and, as the name says, sharks!  Simply don your snorkeling gear, slide on in and glide across the manmade coral reef.

The equipment needed for Shark Reef is included with park admission and there’s no additional charge.  The reef itself is 10 feet deep after the initial drop off.  Guests must be able to float on their own or with the use of a lifejacket which is also provided free of charge.  Children under 10 years of age much be accompanied by an adult.
