For those headed to the Walt Disney World Resort to watch the taping of the annual Disney Christmas Special in the Magic Kingdom, you might want to double check your plans. It was just announced that not only has the name changed from the Disney Christmas Special to the “Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration,” but the taping, which usually happens the first week of December, is scheduled to be filmed on November 10-13, 2015. The new name reflects the current ad campaign for Disney Parks, “Unforgettable Happens Here.” The guest host for the Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration has not yet been announced, but past hosts have included Neil Patrick Harris, Ryan Seacrest and Mario Lopez.

If you are planning on being in the Magic Kingdom during the taping days, you don’t need to purchase any additional tickets besides your park admission. The filming will take place predominantly on Main Street, U.S.A. and the Castle Stage, and Guests are encouraged to be a part of the experience. The event will be aired on the ABC network on Christmas Day, so if you would like to see yourself on TV at the Most Magical Place on Earth, make your plans now!
