Universal Studios announced that they would be using a virtual queue for their new water park, Volcano Bay that is set to open soon. And it looks like Disney wasn’t going to be left behind!
According to WDW News Today, Disney has started testing a virtual queue for a handful of popular rides at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.
This is not Fastpass+, but more like a restaurant reservation system. Guests have to be in the park before getting into the virtual queue.
The attractions currently testing the virtual queue are:
Blizzard Beach
- Downhill Double Dipper
- Slush Gusher
- Summit Plummet
Typhoon Lagoon
- Miss Adventure Falls
The testing started today, March 28 and is scheduled to end April 7, 2017.
