When Walt Disney World Resorts introduced the Rapid Refillable Mugs they changed the standard flat rate pricing to a tiered pricing. Guests could choose from 1-day, 2-day or length-of-stay pricing options when purchasing the mugs and the Cast Members would program each mug for the requested length. Disney has quietly started doing away with this pricing structure, and is only offering the length-of-stay option. They have also lowered the price from $17.99 to $16.49.

DIStracted Tip: Once activated the Rapid Refill Mugs can be refilled at any Disney World Resorts, but can NOT be refilled in the parks.

Guests are reporting the new pricing is showing up at Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
