Magic Kingdom Refurbishment Update
We’ll have to wait a few more extra days to explore the Swiss Family Tree House in Magic Kingdom. Guests will be able to walk through the tree house on September 30, 2016.
Disney Springs Refurbishment Update
Those of us waiting to experience the new Planet Hollywood featuring the new menu by the Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri will have to wait a couple more months. Pushed back until Fall 2016, once this restaurant reopens it will be the new hot spot for Disney Foodies!
Walt Disney World Resorts Refurbishment Update
Extended until October 31, 2016, the refurbishments at Disney’s Boardwalk Villas are taking a little extra time. March 2018 marks the end of the Pop Century Resort hard goods refurbishments.
Bay Lake Towers soft goods refurbishment is coming to a close on September 24, 2016. This is a little earlier than previously scheduled.
New expansion work for the Yacht & Beach Club Convention Center has started. Completion for that work is February 2018. Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is undergoing general refurbishments until October 2016.
