There is nothing worse than discovering your favorite Walt Disney World Resort attraction is going to be down for refurbishment while you are visiting. We are here to give you weekly updates about what is currently closed and what attractions will be going down in the future.

Theme Parks

Currently in the Magic Kingdom, all attractions are up and running.   Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Flights of Wonder will wrap up its lengthy refurbishment on March 31.

Pizza Planet remains closed for its lengthy refurbishment in Disney’s Hollywood Studios (set to reopen in late 2016). The refurbishment of Soarin and the re-imagination of the Maelstrom continue in Epcot this week. Frozen Ever After is still on schedule to open on April 30, 2016.  Circle of Life is also under refurbishment in Epcot through April 2nd.

Resort Hotels

Several ongoing resort refurbishments continue this week at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas,  Disney’s Boardwalk Inn,  Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort,  Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort,  Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Buena Vista Palace.  Upcoming refurbishments scheduled for the Walt Disney World Resort include:

*The Walt Disney World® Resort Monorail System is undergoing refurbishment and may be on modified service and/or routes. If Guests plan to use this form of transportation during their visit they should check to be sure of the best option available on their day of travel, as alternative transportation options will be available.
