There is nothing worse than discovering your favorite Walt Disney World Resort attraction is going to be down for refurbishment while you are visiting. We are here to give you weekly updates about what is currently closed and what attractions will be going down in the future.
Theme Parks
Pizza Planet remains closed for its lengthy refurbishment in Disney’s Hollywood Studios (set to reopen in late 2016). Disney announced this week that Frozen Ever After will now open in Epcot in June instead of the original date of April 30th. Disney also announced that Soarin’ will reopen on June 17, 2016.
Resort Hotels
Several ongoing resort refurbishments continue this week at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Buena Vista Palace. Upcoming refurbishments scheduled for the Walt Disney World Resort include:

*The Walt Disney World® Resort Monorail System is undergoing refurbishment and may be on modified service and/or routes. If Guests plan to use this form of transportation during their visit they should check to be sure of the best option available on their day of travel, as alternative transportation options will be available.
