Walt Disney World Resort Weekly Refurbishment Update

Currently, Pirates of the Caribbean and the Liberty Tree Tavern are closed for refurbishment in the Magic Kingdom. The re-imagination of the Maelstrom is also underway in Epcot’s World Showcase. Other attractions, resorts, and restaurants scheduled for refurbishments throughout the Walt Disney World Resort include:

Weather Condition - No charcoal grills or campfires	Due to dry conditions, there are currently fire restrictions throughout Central Florida. As a result, campfires at our Resort hotels will not take place as scheduled. Other recreation activities will continue to be held. *The Walt Disney World® Resort Monorail System will undergo refurbishment that will impact the Express monorail beam, which runs between the Ticket & Transportation Center and the Magic Kingdom. Express beam shutdowns will occur between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The Resort beam will continue to run during downtimes. Guests arriving at the Ticket & Transportation Center during downtimes will be directed to the ferry boats.
