Are you among the brave who visit Walt Disney World Resort the week between Christmas and New Years? If so, this may be of interest to you! Please don’t get me wrong, this is a very magical time to visit Walt Disney World, which is exactly why everyone in the world (literally everyone, YES everyone) visits during this week. If you are hoping to do something extra special for New Years Eve (romantic dinner, marriage proposal, dessert party) you need to make reservations NOW! Reservations opened this week and they won’t last long! Here is a list of the locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort that will be offering special menus and parties on New Years Eve:
Disney’s Contemporary Resort

California Grill – Securing reservations at California Grill guarantees the most amazing view of the New Year’s Eve fireworks! The New Year’s Eve gala will feature dine-around food stations throughout the restaurant with a complimentary bar. Guests can enjoy wine poured by the glass until midnight. You can expect special appearances by Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Baby New Year! The dress code (dinner jacket for men (tie optional), and a dress or pants suit for women) will be enforced. There is only one seating for the event which is promptly at 8:00 p.m. The cost for the event is $625.00 which includes tax and gratuity. This must be paid in advance. Cancellations must be made 2 days in advance to avoid forfeiting the full charged amount.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Narcoossee’s – Narcoossee’s offers delicious seafood and steaks with fabulous views of the New Year’s Eve fireworks! This year they will be offering 2 celebrations: (1) Early Dinner – this seating will be offered between 5:00-5:45 p.m. for $159.75/adult and $74.55/child. The cost must be prepaid and includes tax and gratuity; (2) Late Dining Event – this seating will be offered between 8:30-9:30 p.m. for $317.48/adult and $118.28/child. The cost must be prepaid and includes tax and gratuity. *The late dining event can only be booked by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Cancellations must be made 4 days in advance to avoid forfeiting the full charged amount.
Victoria & Albert’s – For the most romantic experience in all of Walt Disney World Resort, secure reservations at Victoria & Alberts! Their New Year’s Eve celebration will include a ten-course menu with a nine-course wine pairing. The dress code at Victoria & Albert’s is strictly enforced. Men must wear dinner jackets with dress pants or slacks and shoes (ties are optional). Women may wear a cocktail dress, nice dress, dressy pant suit or a skirt with a blouse. Jeans, shorts, capri pants, sandals, flip-flops or tennis shoes are not permitted. Reservations may be secured by calling (407) 939-3862.
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel
Il Mulino New York Trattoria – Il Mulino New York Trattoria is based on a bistro voted best Italian restaurant in New York City for two decades by Zagat. New Year’s Eve seating begins at 7:15 p.m. and continues until 11:00 p.m. The prepaid dining event is $105.00/adult and $39.00/child which includes tax and gratuity. Alcoholic drinks and specialty coffees are additional. Cancellations must be received at least 2 days prior to your reservation to avoid forfeiting the full charge amount. Reservations may be secured online.
Disney’s Boardwalk
Atlantic Dance Hall – If you are over 21 and looking to ring in the New Year with a high energy club atmosphere, Atlantic Dance Hall is the place for you! Located at Disney’s Boardwalk, Guests will have a fabulous view of the Epcot fireworks at midnight. Included in admission, Guests can enjoy a live band, party hats and horns, and a champagne toast. There will also be a VIP experience available which includes access to an exclusive VIP section which offers Guests their own bartender, ample seating, and a New Year’s Eve dessert bar.
Epcot
La Hacienda de San Angel (Mexico) – Celebrate a ¡Feliz Año Nuevo! with authentic Mexican cuisine and a waterfront view of the fireworks. Guests will enjoy live Mariachi entertainment, a welcome margarita (adults only), and a 5-course prix-fixe dinner featuring Surf and Turf. Seating begins at 9:30 p.m. The cost for adults is $280.13 and $73.46 for children. The cost must be prepaid and includes tax and gratuity. *Alcoholic drinks or specialty coffees apart from the welcome margarita will be additional. Cancellations must be made 2 days in advance to avoid forfeiting the full charged amount. Reservations may be made by calling (407) 939-3463. Le Cellier Steakhouse (Canada) – Le Cellier is one of the best steakhouses in all of Walt Disney World! I have never eaten anything here I didn’t absolutely love! This New Year’s Eve, Le Cellier will be offering 3 seatings for their New Year’s celebration: (1) First Seating – Book a reservation at 4:30 p.m. to enjoy a 4-course meal (with appetizer, entree and dessert). The cost for adults is $148.04 and $47.93 for children (ages 3-9); (2) Second Seating – Book a reservation at 6:45 p.m. to enjoy a 4-course meal (with appetizer, entree and dessert). The cost for adults is $148.04 and $47.93 for children (ages 3-9); (3) Third Seating – Book a reservation at 9:00 p.m. to enjoy a 5-course meal (with appetizer, entree and dessert). The cost for adults is $211.94 and $69.23 for children (ages 3-9). All guests 21 years of age and over can take home a souvenir champagne flute featuring the Le Cellier logo. All prices are per person, and both tax and gratuity are included. Advance reservations are required for all three seatings, and can be made by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Monsieur Paul (France) – Ring in the New Year in style with a world-class dining event courtesy of “Chef of the Century” Paul Bocuse. Monsieur Paul will be offering 3 seatings for their New Year’s celebration: (1) Lunch – Seatings will be offered at 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Guests can enjoy a special 3-course prix-fixe meal for $85/person (adult or child); (2) Dinner – Seating will be offered at 5:45 p.m. Guests can enjoy a special 3-course prix-fixe meal for $85/person (adult or child); (3) Premier Dining Event – Seating will be offered between 8:45 and 9:50 p.m. Guests can enjoy a 4-course prix-fixe meal for $235/adult ($295/adult with wine) and $235/child. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) WDW-3463. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call. Please note that admission to Epcot is required and not included in the price of this event.
World ShowPlace – This custom dinner buffet offers fun for the whole family. Guests can enjoy many different foods while listening to their favorite Disney songs. Some of the foods featured on this year’s buffet will be: demi-braised beef, mesquite spice deep fried turkey breast, mojo roasted pork, Ruskin tomato basil soup, grilled flatbreads, hummus, chocolate ganache brownies, Mickey key lime tarts, warm banana chocolate chip bread pudding, and much MUCH more! There will be special menu items just for the kids such as baked mini corn dogs and macaroni & cheese. After dinner, Guests can head over to the World ShowPlace promenade where they can ring in the New Year with the fireworks spectacular! **There is no private viewing area for any of the fireworks displays offered with reservations. General admission to New Year’s Eve Dining at World ShowPlace costs $71.84/adult and $44.37/child, plus tax. Advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling (407) WDW-DINE. There will be plenty of extra fun activities offered throughout all of the Parks for those Guests celebrating New Year’s Eve in Walt Disney World who aren’t looking to book any of the aforementioned special events. After all you will be ringing in the New Year in the most magical place on Earth!
