For those traveling this March, you may want to check your email. It seems that Disney is canceling Fastpass+ (FP) selections for Buzz Lightyear Ranger Spin at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. As of right now, we are unsure of how long- but it appears that the Ranger Spin may be down March 4 & 5 and other rumors suggest that Peter Pan’s Flight could be down March 5 & 6. (Edit- Guests have confirmed emails canceling Peter Pan’s Flight Fastpass+ selections).
The big question is, why is Disney canceling FP when a refurb hasn’t been announced? Is the ride going to be closed or are they simply choosing to not allow guests to have a FP for these attractions? I find it interesting that the replacement FP has been not only in a different land of Magic Kingdom, but in some cases also a different time of day. It does appear that most guests have been able to easily switch the FP to fit with their plans for the day.

I have been cancelled on March 5th for Peter Pan, but Big Thunder (supposed Refurb March 4-7) is now available on March 5th.
That’s so interesting! So many questions!
I received an email yesterday stating my Elsa and Anna Fastpass has been canceled. Upon calling Disney, they say it appears to be a technical glitch and that we will receive an email once they have answers. Disney will have to give us fast passes for another day to meet Elsa and Anna or there will be hell to pay.
Good to know that it was merely a glitch! Keep us updated when Disney responds to you!
