It looks like Pluto is throwing a Pajama Party over at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and my five-year old niece Katie is one of the lucky children invited to join in the fun. Some Wilderness Lodge guests are getting a bunch of extra pixie dust this week. The Cub’s Den, the Children’s Activity Center at the Wilderness Lodge, is testing a new “premium” program this week and they have invited a limited number of children to participate from April 21-24. My brother checked in yesterday, but received his lucky e-mail a little over a week ago inviting him to enjoy a complimentary visit to The Cub’s Den for my niece any time between the hours of 4:30-midnight. A complimentary dinner will be served at 6:00 in conjunction with Pluto’s Pajama Party from 5:30-8:30. The e-mail tells guests to “bring the little ones dressed in their pajamas so they can do anything but sleep when Pluto and friends host the ultimate slumber party.”
My brother responded immediately with his preferred date via the e-mail link provided, as it mentioned that space was very limited. They received a call in their resort room after check-in confirming their acceptance for their date of choice. Now all my niece has to do is decide what pajamas to wear!

In exchange for a child-free evening, parents are asked to complete a brief survey at pick-up. In addition, one parent is required to attend an hour long focus group the next morning. While that may cut into vacation time, participants in the focus group enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast and leave with a $75.00 Disney gift card as well! Needless to say, my brother’s family is excited to be included in this unique test and they have promised to share all of the details with MagicalDIStractions next week! Stay tuned!
