Ever since runDisney released the dates for the upcoming Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend (November 12 – 15, 2015,  Disneyland Resort), speculations have been running wild on whether or not runDisney would offer a “challenge” this year. A runDisney challenge includes running the 10k and the half marathon in the same weekend.

Last year the Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend included runDisney Kids’ races, the Super Heroes 5k and the Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon.  Additionally, the expo started on Friday. Well, many have noticed this year’s Avengers Super Heroes Expo is scheduled to start on Thursday, which leads many to believe runDisney will be offering a Avengers Superhero challenge!

We will be keeping a close eye on this, and will update everyone if runDisney confirms this rumor! I for one hope they offer an Avengers Super Heroes challenge!

Registration for the runDisney Avengers Super Heroes Half Weekend opens up April 7, 2015, while Annual Pass/Disney Vacation Club registration opens March 24, 2015.
