JAPAN PAVILION
Enter a serene place with rock gardens, an abundance of water in koi-filled pools and streams, a handsome pagoda and a stunning torii gate. But there’s plenty of action, too – with the astounding Taiko drummers, Matsuriza; and lively restaurants which include Teppan Edo, Tokyo Dining and the Katsura Grill. Plus shops galore where you can find authentic Japanese apparel, toys, and Bonsai trees.
ENTERTAINMENT
Matsuriza: Feel the thunder of Taiko, a time-honored form of drumming, as this percussive troupe performs with synchronized movements. Guests will be entertained by the rhythm of the drums and the sweet sounds of the bamboo flute.

DINING
Teppan Edo: Celebrate authentic Japanese cuisine during an exciting dining experience that’s part meal, part show. Every seat affords guests the opportunity to watch as these Master Chefs showcase their skills at the grills right at your table. You can choose from your favorite Japanese dishes such as teriyaki chicken, potato-vegetable croquettes, tempura and edamame. For dessert, you can dine on such sweet delights as the chocolate ginger cake or green tea pudding.
Guests 21 years of age and over can pair their meal with Japanese beer, wine, hot or cold sake and even a sake cocktail.
Teppan Edo is one of two table service restaurants in the Japan Pavilion and requires one table service credit when using the Disney Dining Plan. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.

Tokyo Dining: This sleek, contemporary restaurant affords guests the opportunity to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine and possibly enjoy a view of the World Showcase Lagoon. You’ll get a true feel of modern Tokyo while watching the sushi chefs prepare their works of art. In addition to the sushi, guests can dine on grilled steaks, fresh fish and a variety of unique items like the Bento Box presentations.
Guests 21 years of age and over can select a perfect complement to their meal with a premium sake, imported Japanese beer, cocktails or wine.
Toyko Dining is a table service restaurant and requires one table service credit when using the Disney Dining Plan. Reservations are recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.

Katsura Grill: Sitting on a hill among the beautiful landscaping is the Katsura Grill, Japan’s counter service restaurant. The menu includes seven different sushi rolls, beef and chicken teriyaki, Udon Noodles, steamed vegetables and rice. Kirin beef, sake and soft drinks are on the drink menu. Katsura Grill offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Guests dining outside will enjoy the beautiful landscaping and may catch a glimpse of the lagoon.

Kaki Gori Stand: Kaki Gori is served in the Japan Pavilion in World Showcase at the Epcot theme park. This sweet and fruity cold confection is a great snack for a hot summer day. Kaki-Gori is shaved ice, hand-shaped into an enormous snowball and topped with fruit syrup. Flavors include strawberry, tangerine, and honeydew, or a rainbow combination of all three flavors.

ATTRACTIONS
Bijitsu-kan Gallery: An often overlooked attraction in Epcot’s World Showcase is the Bijitsu-kan Gallery located in the Japan Pavilion. In the Bijitsu-kan Gallery, guests can explore the ancient myths and legends that gave rise to Japan’s modern anime culture, one of its biggest exports today. Included in the exhibit are 1,000 lucky paper cranes, manga art and anime figures. The Spirited Beasts will give adults and kids a look into how they became an integral part of the Japanese culture.

Pick A Pearl Experience: The Mitsukoshi Department Store, with its huge array of merchandise and popular Hello Kitty and Pokemon brands, is located to your right when entering the Japan pavilion. Mitsukoshi is also home to the “pick a pearl” oyster stand and one of the most unique souvenirs on Disney property. What makes this souvenir even more special is the fact that you take part in every single step of the experience.
