Located in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s  is a fantastic little Quick Service joint by the name of Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe’. This establishment is the Quick Service version of Yak and Yeti Restaurant, a table service restaurant located next door.  I have passed this place on trips in the past when heading to Expedition Everest. Normally my family always ends up at Restaurantosaurus when dining in the Animal Kingdom. This trip was about trying new things so Yak and Yeti Local Foods Café  was on the to do list!

If you’re tired of burgers and fries then this is the place you need to go! Included on the menu are things like Teriyaki Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, Egg Rolls, etc.

I ordered the Beef Teriyaki. It was so delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and had such amazing flavor. Honestly, it was so good that my mouth is watering just thinking about it!  (I took the picture after I took a bite….)

My husband ordered the Sweet n Sour Chicken. It is the best Sweet n Sour Chicken I have ever had! It was the perfect blend of Sweet, Sour, and even a touch of spice. I highly recommend this!

Located in the main dining area is a small window that serves alcoholic beverages too!

This will definitely become a must do on all of my future trips to Walt Disney World!

Once we left Yak and Yeti Local Foods Café we figured it was time for a little drink.  We stopped at one of the carts for Hubby to get a beer.

My Mother in Law loves Margaritas. This was good. Nothing special, but good.

I opted for the Island Punch. It was good and definitely something I would get again. Fruity, rum filled, delicious.

Remember, while vacationing in Walt Disney World Resort there are so many food choices. Ask around, see what there is because you don’t have to live on burgers alone when on vacation!
