Disney Parks Blog released some exciting news today regarding Season of the Force at Disneyland Resort.
On November 16, 2015 Guests will be treated to some all new Star Wars experiences in Tomorrowland as part of the newly announced Season of the Force.
The most anticipated exhibit, Star Wars Launch Bay, will feature special character experiences that allow Guests to travel from the Dark Side to the Light Side. Even the strongest Jedi will need every ounce of courage when visiting the Dark Side as they will encounter the infamous villain, Darth Vader. Before heading to the Dark Side all Jedis need a big, furry co-pilot to stand by them! Well make sure to stop by the makeshift rebel base, and meet the best friend and co-pilot any Jedi could have, Chewbacca!
Once you’ve gathered your co-pilot and fought your worst enemy take a stroll through the four themed galleries. With all your courage walk through the Dark Side Gallery and view authentic pieces of Stormtrooper armor and take a peek at the Sith lightsabers once wielded by masters of the Dark Side. In the Light Side Gallery you can check out the Rebel helmets and and light sabers one used by Jedi Knights. The Preview Gallery will give you a special look at some of the props used in one of the most anticipated films of the year, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. In the Starship Gallery Guests can view models of the famous starships and their pilots from the Star Wars saga.
In the Star Wars Game Center Guests can play the newest games from the Star Wars family including park exclusive Toy Box levels in Disney Infinity 3.o.
Star Tours – The Adventure Continues will feature a new scene inspired from the upcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Young Jedi Knights are in for a treat this December as Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple introduces them to new characters and gives them a chance to battle a new villain from the popular series, Star Wars Rebels.
There will also be a few limited-time experiences as part of the Season of the Force including new themed food, a special look back at scenes from the classic Star Wars films at the Tomorrowland theater and a special Star Wars overlay that transforms Space Mountain into Hyperspace Mountain!
Disney Parks has not released the opening date for the Season of the Force at Walt Disney World Resort, but stay tuned and we will update you as soon as we hear anything!
